The agent of Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has ruled out a move to Fiorentina.
The Viola have made an approach to Giovanni Bia about his client, but their deal for Marcelo Larrondo has ended any chance of signing Macheda.
Bia explained: "I have had several chats with (sports director) Daniele Pradè. Sure, maybe the proposed role was not the best for the player, as there is a risk of ending on the bench and Macheda is a major player.
"With the arrival of Larrondo, the Viola no longer have room for another forward."
