Want-away Arsenal striker Robin van Persie wants a move to Manchester United ahead of Manchester City.
The People claims Van Persie prefers a move to Old Trafford, where he believes he will get far more game time than at City.
Van Persie would have competition from Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko and, possibly, Emmanuel Adebayor if City cannot agree a deal with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy for the sale of the Togo striker.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes Van Persie would give United a great chance of reclaiming the title and is excited by the prospect of having four top strikers - Van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez.
