According to reports West Ham United are interested in Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The Daily Mirror claims the Hammers are ready to offer Berbatov an escape route from his Manchester United misery.
The east London club has switched its attention to the Bulgarian striker after their bid to sign Andy Carroll was rebuffed by the Liverpool forward.
It is understood the Upton Park outfit would prefer a season-long loan and believe former Spurs hitman Berbatov would be tempted by a return to London.
