Real Madrid steal march on Manchester United in race for Spurs ace Modric

According to reports Real Madrid are readying a £30 million bid for Manchester United target Luka Modric.

The Daily Mail claims Madrid are confident of finalising a deal for the 26-year-old playmaker.

Modric wants to leave White Hart Lane for Champions League football but Spurs are expected hold our for the highest possible price.
