Manchester United ace Nani was delighted to be part of his country's Euro 2012 quarter-final victory over the Czech Republic.
Nani watched as his former Old Trafford teammate Cristiano Ronaldo headed home the winner late on.
"I had a couple of chances, Cristiano did, and Almeida as well," said Nani.
"Finally Ronaldo scored a goal, we won the game and that's the most important thing.
“Everyone is happy, we're very satisfied with the result. Every game is going to be more difficult, but it was a great performance by all the players tonight and the whole team is feeling very confident.
“Now we have to rest and prepare for the big match."
