According to reports Porto winger James Rodriguez has told Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson he is keen to join him this summer.
Record claims United held talks with the Colombian's camp towards the end of last season about a transfer.
However, it is understood they postponed those negotiations while he was involved in World Cup qualifiers this month.
However, it is believed the talks will resume now that Rodriguez's international commitments are over.
It is claimed that, during the previous round of negotiations, Rodriguez welcomed a move to Old Trafford.
