According to reports Manchester United are interested in Napoli star Ezquiel Lavezzi.
The Journal of Naples newspaper claims United are ready to rival Manchester City and Chelsea in the race for the Argentina forward.
Lavezzi is believed to be unsettled at the Serie A side, particularly after their failure to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Both Chelsea and City are believed to be in the market for Lavezzi's club team-mate Edinson Cavani, which could allow United to a free run at Lavezzi.
Lavezzi has a £25 million buy-out clause in his contract.
