According to reports Manchester United are finding Borussia Dortmund a hard nut to crack over Shinji Kagawa.

United have already held talks with Kagawa, who described his meeting with Sir Alex Ferguson as "positive".

Dortmund are prepared to let the Japan international leave after being told he does not want to sign a new contract.

However, with his existing deal expiring in 2013, it seems the Bundesliga champions will not let him leave cheaply according to talkSPORT.

Reports have suggested that United want to pay £7 million but Dortmund are looking for at least double that figure.
