Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has revealed he is "gutted" not to be going to the Euro 2012 this summer.
Ferdinand posted a message on his Twitter account last night following his omission from Roy Hodgson’s England squad.
The former United skipper appeared to suggest that his days of representing his country are now over.
"Absolutely loved playing for England....to say I'm gutted is an understatement of the highest order...," Ferdinand said.
