Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has spoken of his pride in wearing the captain’s armband in Harry Gregg's testimonial.
United won the friendly in Belfast on Tuesday night, which was arranged as a tribute to the former Red Devils goalkeeper who survived the Munich air crash in 1958.
Evans told MUTV after the game about his delight in leading out the team in his home city.
He said: "It was a nice feeling and a good night for Harry.
“It shows the respect the club have for him with the strong team the manager picked. I'm sure he enjoyed the occasion.”
