Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Paul Scholes will play on next season.
Ferguson has confirmed that the veteran midfielder has signed a one-year contract extension at Old Trafford.
Speaking at the club's Player of the Year dinner on Monday evening, Ferguson told MUTV: "It has been done. He is staying."
