The agent of Dimitar Berbatov has dismissed claims that the Manchester United striker is angling for a move to the continent.
Emil Dantchev was quoted as saying that the forward wanted to "to try a new challenge in another league".
But he told local Bulgarian radio last night: "Categorically, I want to say that I haven't talked with Goal.com. Everything in this interview is distorted. There is nothing to say about Berbatov's future at the moment."
He added: "If there aren't any offers, Berbatov will stay in Manchester United another year. There have not been any offers yet. It is also true that Manchester won't let Berbatov to leave for pennies."
