According to reports Arsenal star Robin van Persie is in the sights of Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
The future of the Dutchman, who has barely a year left on his contract, is clouded in uncertainty.
Many expect him to leave the Gunners, particularly if they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League, with Manchester City seen as the frontrunners.
However, talkSPORT reports that United have already sounded out the possibility of the prolific striker making a switch to Old Trafford.
