Manchester United defender Chris Smalling's involvement in this summer's Euro 2012 tournament is under threat.
The Daily Mail says Smalling has suffered a Euro 2012 scare after being told his groin injury is worse than first thought.
Smalling was believed to be fine despite limping through the closing stages of United's 2-0 win over Swansea on Sunday
He will now United's final league game at Sunderland next weekend and have to wait to see how the injury responds to treatment over the next two or three days.
