According to reports Chinese outfit Shanghai Shenhua are interested in Manchester United striker Michael Owen.
The Sun claims the former England international is wanted by new Shenhua boss Nicolas Anelka.
The former Chelsea and Liverpool striker took over last week after Jean Tigana was sacked.
Shenhua chiefs are hoping to attract some big names to the Chinese Super League — starting with the United and former Liverpool forward.
The 32-year-old marksman is out of contract this summer and unlikely to be offered a new deal.
