According to reports Chelsea are planning a £10 million move for Manchester United target Ross Barkley.
The People claims the Blues will try to tempt Everton into selling the youngster by offering to let him remain at Goodison Park next season if they manage to negotiate a deal.
Club chiefs are optimistic about doing a deal, especially as they are prepared to allow Barkley to remain at Everton next season.
Manchester United are also keen, where Sir Alex Ferguson believes Barkley is destined for great things.
