Sir Alex Ferguson has called on Manchester United fans to back his young side.
Ferguson believes his youngsters will prove their worth and wants the supporters to trust in his team tonight in the derby with Manchester City.
Fergie explained: “There will be occasions when fans get nervous — that’s understandable.
"We’re contesting the title with our city neighbours and that brings about a different nervousness to normal.
"But the fans have to trust the players — and the important thing is to get right behind us. When they do that, it makes a big difference.”
