Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is well aware of the qualities of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

Tevez is expected to play a part for Manchester City in the crunch derby match with United on Monday night.

The Argentine has made a difference since returning to the squad, and has already found the net three times in five previous games against United.

"We have not watched the games a lot, but he scored a hat-trick," Ferguson said.

"That is an impact. We will just have to wait and see what he does on Monday."
