Manchester United midfielders Anderson and Paul Pogba have been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Anderson’s hamstring injury will not recover in time for him to play a part in the title run-in while Pogba suffered an ankle problem in a reserve game earlier this week.
Ferguson admitted that the season is now over for both.
"Anderson is not going to play again this season and Paul got injured in Monday and he is out for the season," said Ferguson.
