Flamengo starlet Adryan has confirmed he turned down a move to Manchester United last summer.
The 17-year old Brazilian attacking midfielder held talks with the Red Devils about a potential move to Old Trafford but he decided that he needed more time to develop in his homeland.
"Man United did talk to me and showed interest," he told Globo Esporte.
"But I was not interested in moving at that point. Let's see if something adequate comes up in the future.
"I don't think about going to Europe so quickly, things need to be done step by step.”
