Manchester United ace Rooney eyeing win at Manchester City

Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney reckons they are more than capable of winning in Manchester City’s backyard at the end of the month.

The clash at the Etihad Stadium on 30th April has been billed as a title decider but United’s five-point lead over their neighbours may now render it redundant in terms of determining the destiny of the Premier League crown.

Nevertheless, Rooney has insisted they will be looking to win the game.

"We’re certainly good enough to beat them there, as we showed in the FA Cup," said Rooney.

"They have a great record at home in the League but we managed to get the result there in the Cup and that shows we can go there and win. We just have to play our normal football.

"We’ll take full confidence into that game and hopefully we can get the three points.

"We’ll approach it as we do any normal game. We won’t be doing anything different."
