Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has pointed to the contribution of winger Nani in Manchester United's record-breaking season.
Nani, who won the club's Players' Player of the Year award this week, has been the epitome of inconsistency in recent seasons, but this season has impressed throughout for the Red Devils.
Fletcher feels Nani’s early season form laid the foundation for the club’s 19th league title.
The Scot told MUTV: "I voted for Nani.
“Earlier on in the season when people have mentioned about our form not being there Nani was winning us games and was a constant threat, either creating or scoring goals.
"Later on in the season other players took over and found a bit of form, but up until well into January and February Nani was the real inspiration.
“I had to give it him for that."
