According to reports Bolton Wanderers winger Martin Petrov could be on his way to a Major League Soccer club.

The National claims that Wanderers have ‘opened discussions on the transfer of winger Martin Petrov to Major League Soccer’.

The Bulgarian appears to have fallen out of favour at the Reebok Stadium after only joining last summer from Manchester City on a free transfer.

Nevertheless, it seems Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is happy to offload the 32-year-old.
