A teenager has been arrested in connection with a wave of sexual assaults in Manchester.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Manchester City Youth Court this morning to face six counts of sexual assault.
Two women, both aged 18, were sexually assaulted at around 4.50am on Saturday 4th August on Barnhill Street. The following evening, a 20-year-old women suffered the same fate on Fairbank Avenue, Moss Side.
The attacks followed a string of earlier incidents believed to have been carried out by the same perpetrator.
On 31th July, 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on Princess Street, and a 24-year-old woman sexually assaulted on Dorset Avenue.
The offender struck again on 1st August on Playfair Street, his victim a 24-year-old woman this time.
