Police have launched an investigation after a man was found dead in Manchester.
Officers were called to a school on Dantzic Street, Collyhurst at around 7.20am this morning (18th June) following reports that a body had been discovered there.
The school has been closed and police inquires are ongoing.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Roters from North Manchester CID said: “We are in the very early stages of our investigation and we are trying to establish the circumstances that led to this man’s death.
“Obviously, this discovery will raise concerns with parents and the local community but we are doing all we can to find out what has happened.
“There will be a police presence at the scene and I would ask anyone who has any concerns to speak to their local officer.
