A man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found at a house in the Manchester region.
Foyez Ahmed, 31, was arrested after 38-year-old Razu Khanum was discovered at an address on Matthew Close, Oldham with severe injuries shortly after 10.30am on Friday 8th June.
The victim was rushed to hospital, but died from her wounds. A post-mortem examination concluded that she passed away due to head trauma and neck injuries.
Police are treating the incident as domestic-related.
Ahmed is due to appear before Oldham Magistrates' Court today (11th June).
