Teenage girl dies in Manchester road crash

A teenage girl has died after her bicycle collided with a HGV in Manchester.

Georgia Ellen Flynn, 19, suffered extensive injuries and died at the scene in the grounds of the Trafford Centre shopping mall.

The accident happened on an access road on the outer ring road of the west side of the Trafford Centre.

Police and paramedics attended the scene at 5pm on Saturday.

No-one else was injured and a police investigation into the death of Georgia, from Sale, was launched on Sunday.
