Cruiseline P&O has banned 200 Manchester pupils after staff following a drunken brawl on one of its vessels.
Students from the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University are alleged to have trashed the £180m Spirit of France ferry on 1st April.
The group, who were on their way to a 10-day ski trip in the Alps, are said to have brawled, smashed glass and ran around the ship naked, sparking a host of complaints from staff and passengers.
A P&O spokeswoman said: "The company deplores the behaviour of this group of students, who were clearly drunk before they boarded the ship.
"Customers and staff on-board the ship were appalled by the students' aggressive and lewd conduct, which should be stamped out by the authorities".
The ferry company has refused to provide transport home for the group and has contacted the Universities to report the incident.
Neither institute has offered any comment about the incident.
