Monarch Airlines has commissioned a 'Little Italy' racetrack at Manchester Airport to promote its new routes to Italy.
The 32 square metre racetrack, housed within the departures area, recreates the country's iconic landmarks, such as the Colosseum in Rome, the Opera House in Verona, and the Rialto Bridge in Venice.
Monarch introduced the family attraction to the airport to coincide its newly-added flight destinations of Milan, Rome, Venice and Verona.
Monarch Airlines managing director, Kevin George, said: “Monarch Airlines is now firmly focused on expanding its scheduled network and we are delighted to be adding the new Italian routes to our extensive range of leisure destinations across Europe.”
Passengers can fly with Monarch from Manchester to Milan and Venice now, with plans to add Verona to that list from 2nd May. Flights to Rome are available from London Luton and Birmingham airports.
