Lime Bar & Restaurant have commissioned a mural inspired by the Union Jack to coincide with the Olympic Games in London.
Designed by Salford University student Matt Houghton, the patriotic work of art is an 'exploded', geometric interpretation of the British flag covering the entire back wall of the bar area.
Lime general manager, Adam Whitworth, said: "we are delighted with the finished piece, it’s an unusual design concept for the Union Jack but it really works; the artwork is bold, bright and brilliant!"
Lime, one of six plaza restaurants located at the Lowry Outlet Mall, is a favourite with theatre visitors, local workers, families and weekend revellers.
