Manchester's famous Band on the Wall venue celebrates its 80th anniversary in July, and is hosting an evening of free live music to celebrate.
The event takes place on Saturday 7th July, featuring performances from local DJs, bands, and solo acts.
Denis Jones, a Mancunian artist who blends acoustic guitars with electronic elements, is joined on the bill by Hot Botz Brass Band, a group who merge drum & bass with "filth brass."
Over in the Picturehouse bar, a host of acoustic singer/songwriters will perform, including Stefan Melbourne, Tim & Robi and Taylor & the Mason.
To coincide with Band on the Wall's 80th year as a live music venue, the club's owners are launching a public appeal.
"Band on the Wall is on the look out for any photos, recordings or even just stories from the venue across the years," they said in a statement.
"Did you meet your partner here? See a particularly great band that has stuck with you, or have any other memories you'd like to share? We would love to hear from you as part of our ongoing archive project."
Anyone who can help out with the appeal should contact Marketing & Press Officer Simon Webbon on simonwebbon@bandonthewall.org or call 0161 830 2807.
