Manchester’s Beached Festival returns boasting a bigger than ever line-up.
Headlined by The Futureheads tickets are now on sale for Beached Festival – Manchester’s annual bank holiday party at Castlefield Basin’s pop-up beach.
This year’s line-up is the best yet at Beached Festival, including big names such as: The Whip, TheQuangos, Kid British, Instra:mental, Zed Bias, and the band that took 2012 by storm – The Futureheads, playing a full band set.
This year’s one-day festival, curated by Scruff of the Neck and Soundbase Megastore, has a capacity of 5,000, and is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Music fans will be treated to four stages and over 30 acts throughout the day.
The Futureheads, The Whip and Kid British will perform on the main Sol Beached Stage, while Instra:mental will headline the soundbasemusic.com Dance Tent with Zed Bias and Srcatcha DVA as support headliners – plus sets from Heavy Rain and Knee Deep DJs.
The Fosters Beach Hut stage will feature local acts including Dirty North, Frazer King and The Naughtys.
The resident beach bar also returns for 2012, plus summer cocktails, deck chairs, boat parties, and not forgetting limbo contests, sandcastle competitions, and hula hooping to get the beach party mood in full swing.
